Between 2007 and 2015, the Pacific Basin Institute at Pomona College maintained a grant program to send students from the Claremont Colleges abroad during the summer months to film documentaries. These ethnographic-style short films explored the cultures, economies, and histories of communities throughout the greater Pacific world.
